We met Mike over 12 years ago when he installed replacement windows in our home. It didn’t take long for us to fall in love with him AND his work. Since that first job, we’ve counted on Mike for several projects throughout our home, including a major remodel of our kitchen which included blowing out an entire wall, installing a huge support beam in the ceiling, extending the room out 8 feet and ultimately creating the kitchen of our dreams. Mike personally worked on every aspect of this major project and even sourced several items we didn’t expect to need including a special duct system for our oven exhaust fan and a booster fan for our dryer system in our laundry room off the new kitchen. To top off the remodel, Mike installed the most amazing crown molding in the kitchen, even working around many intricate areas of the ceiling that required multiple detailed cuts – However, for Mike, this was “all in a day’s work”. Mike has also come through for us in an emergency after a burst pipe collapsed the ceiling in our family room and caused major damage to the area. When I called Mike in a panic, he was nice enough to revise his schedule so he could get the job done and get the room put back together. This helped to ease a very tense and stressful situation and we were so grateful for all his help. Most recently, Mike worked on a bathroom remodel. The job required a complete gut and rebuild. As usual, Mike went above your “typical” contractor. Not only did he do the job, but he provided critical suggestions on design and tile choices based on his years of experience. Not surprisingly, we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. Over the many years we’ve worked with Mike, we’ve come to consider him a part of our family. There are so many contractors out there to choose from, but in our humble opinion, if you’re looking for a contractor that will take a personal interest in your job, provide great service, and is truly a great “craftsman” (as well as just an all-around terrific guy), you won’t regret choosing Mike and Inception Builders for your next project! Sincerely submitted. The Cochrane Family
Hey Mike,
The job is finally done and I wanted to take a moment to let you know how pleased Marlene and I are with the job that you and your crew have done. Think about it. You have rebuilt the deck replacing the entire surface, rails, replaced damaged piers, added piers, added a cement pad at the bottom of the steps (which I didn't even know you were doing) and got it all done by Emily's graduation party despite the wet weather.
You replaced the stone on the front walk and porch. The patience and artistry that your crew had in reconstructing it out of flagstone rendered a beautiful entrance to our home.
You tore up a good portion of the hardwood floors on the first floor and refinished it. The job you did not only solved the cosmetic problems but also the the warping we were having with a section of the floor.
There was also the bay window replacement and the repair to the ceiling. You would never know that there was ever a problem with either one of them. That's the kind of workmanship that I have just learned to expect from you.
The crowning touch was the fireplace. It's beautiful. The transformation from a very ordinary, plain and outdated fireplace to a contemporary piece of craftsmanship that has become a focal point of the first floor.
Now, I realize that I am very demanding but you and your crew never met any criticism or change of plan with anything less than a smile and a solution. And you did all this within our budget and our time line.
Thanks for all the hard work, pleasant dispositions, craftsmanship and honesty.
Sincerely,
Charley and Marlene Rucks

Still in love with your home, but feel like it's a little outdated? Need a more functional kitchen for the chef of the house? Let's talk about a remodel.
Every house needs some repairs at some point. From wood rot to storm damage, home repairs need to be handled in such a way that they do not cover up related problems.
